Clinical Supervision
Thoughtful, rigorous supervision from a BPS RAPP-accredited Counselling Psychologist with extensive experience across NHS, private practice, and specialist clinical settings.
About Your Supervisor
Dr Maria Hartshorn
I am a Counselling Psychologist with extensive experience working therapeutically across NHS services, private practice, and specialist clinical settings. My career spans individual therapy, couples work, group facilitation, and organisational consultancy — giving me a broad and grounded perspective to bring to supervision.
As a BPS RAPP (Registered Applied Psychology Practice) supervisor, I offer supervision that is both professionally rigorous and genuinely human. I believe good supervision should challenge you to think more deeply, hold you when the work is hard, and support your growth as a practitioner.
My supervisory approach draws on integrative, relational, and systemic frameworks. I have particular expertise in neurodivergent presentations, trauma, couples and relationship work, and LGBTQ+ affirming practice — and I welcome supervisees working with complex or specialist client groups.
Student concessions are available — please get in touch to discuss.
